Biography
James Walz was raised on a farm in Nebraska and attended pre-Medicine undergraduate at Creighton University. In addition to his undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology he attended Duke University studying the neurologic basis of behavior. Mr. Walz served in the United States Navy Submarine Warfare groups including special operations while attached to both fast attack submarines and Fleet Ballistic Missiles submarines. He is a disabled veteran of foreign wars and served overseas in Northern Europe, East Europe and South East Asia in addition to numerous deterrent patrols in the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Mr. Walz received an associate degree in both accounting and economics from Kitsap Community College and the University of Washington while stationed in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Walz worked as commercial real estate developer in Washington after leaving the Navy. He attended law school at Creighton University where received his juris doctorate in 2002. While in law school, he attended 30 additional hours of law school course work and in conjunction with his juris doctorate; successfully completing a concentration in the area of Business, Taxation and Commercial Transactions. Mr. Walz is recognized by the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution as State court mediator and in Family Law mediation.
Mr. Walz concentrates on civil litigation. He represents injured parties in workers compensation and motor vehicle injury. He has successfully litigated medical malpractice settlements. He believes that all clients he accepts to represent deserve to have their truth known.
