Biography
With over 15 years, Heather diligently represents clients in family law, personal injury and probate matters. Heather joined Walz Law Offices in 2012 and believes that all of her clients’ legal challenges should be met with compassion and understanding of each client’s individual needs and concerns. Her goal with any case is to navigate the client through the legal system and ensure that they feel comfortable and informed throughout the process.
Heather was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Omaha North High School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended law school at Duke University and received her juris doctorate in 2010. While in law school, Heather interned at Legal aid of Nebraska, Legal Aid of North Carolina, and the Duke Legal Project, working mostly with family law matters. After graduating from law school, Heather practiced personal injury law in Wisconsin for a year before moving back to Omaha.
Aside from practicing law, Heather enjoys playing in her string quartets, gardening, and spending time with her family.

- Page v. Armstrong, No. A-23-743 (2024), successfully affirmed trial court award of equalization payment of marital estate.
- Anderson v. Clark, No. A-19-768 (2020), successfully reversed trial court’s entry of domestic abuse protection order where video evidence showed that no domestic abuse had occurred.
- Clark v. Clark, No. A-19-195 (2020), successfully affirmed ruling of trial court regarding retroactive child support.
- Bryson L. v. David B., 302 Neb. 145, 921 N.W.2d 829 (2019), successfully affirmed trial court ruling regarding paternity of minor child.
